A multiple KBB award winner, the 2024 Kia Telluride is an all-around excellent SUV, and a remarkable value in the 8-seater SUV space. As with the Ascent, the Telluride comes with eight seats in base form, with available second-row captain’s chairs. With a premium design and upscale cabin, the 2024 Mazda CX-90 doesn’t look as affordable as it is. It’s also great to drive, comfortable, and well-equipped. Although it’s nearing the $60,000 mark, the 2024 Nissan Armada is a considerable value, with a 400-horsepower V8 engine, available 4WD, a comfortable ride, an upscale cabin, and up to 8,500 pounds towing capacity. The third row isn’t the most spacious, with 28.4 inches of legroom, and there’s 16.5 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat. All trim levels of the Armada can be configured with eight seats, from the base model on up to Platinum.

12. 2024 GMC Yukon
Price With 8-Passenger Seating: $60,195
A near-twin to the Tahoe, the 2024 GMC Yukon is slightly more expensive because it comes with slightly more equipment, with 8-seater configuration the default and both 7- and 9-passenger configurations available. Like the Tahoe, the Yukon is a highly capable truck-based SUV, able to tow up to 8,400 pounds, with a standard 355-horsepower V8 engine and available 4WD. 13. 2024 Chevrolet Suburban
Price With 8-Passenger Seating: $61,195
The 2024 Chevrolet Suburban is to the Tahoe as the Yukon XL is the Yukon — essentially just a longer version of the same vehicle. If you’re looking for serious cargo space, this is a good choice, as the Suburban can pack 41.5 cubic feet of cargo behind the third row, and third-row legroom is substantial, too, at 36.7 inches. There are plenty of upgrade paths if you desire, but you only need the base model to seat eight.

14. 2024 Ford Expedition
Price With 8-Passenger Seating: $61,585
Ford’s answer to the Tahoe/Yukon, the 2024 Ford Expedition is also available in a longer version, the Expedition Max. Unlike most of the SUVs on this list, the base Expedition is a 5-seater ($57,520), with the 8-seater becoming available in the Expedition XLT trim in both standard and Max versions. A 380-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 powers all Expedition variants, and the Expedition can tow up to 9,300 pounds. Rear-seat legroom is excellent at 40.9 inches in standard and Max form, but the Max does outshine in cargo space behind the third row at 36 cubic feet compared to the standard model’s 20.9 cubic feet.

15. 2024 Toyota Sequoia
Price With 8-Passenger Seating: $63,125
The 2024 Toyota Sequoia can be configured to tow up to 9,520 pounds, offers a 437-horsepower hybrid drivetrain in all trims, and is an 8-seater by default. There’s 22.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the sliding third row and up to 33.7 inches of third-row legroom. Towing Tip: Four-wheel drive is available, but to get the max tow rating, you’ll want to choose the base SR5 with rear-wheel drive (RWD).

A relative newcomer to the full-size SUV space — or a welcome return entrant, from a longer perspective — the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer is roomy, upscale, and offers 8-passenger seating in base form for both the standard-length Wagoneer and longer Wagoneer L. Although it’s anything but cheap, the 2024 Infiniti QX80 is the most affordable in its class, namely the full-size luxury SUV segment. It comes with a 400-horsepower V8, can tow up to 8,500 pounds, and offers 8-passenger seating in the base Luxe trim when equipped with the no-cost second-row bench seat option, replacing the standard second-row captain’s chairs.Second-row legroom is expansive at 41.0 inches, while the third row’s 28.8 inches of legroom is a bit tight. The other long-time benchmark of the class, the 2024 Lincoln Navigator is ever so slightly more expensive than the Escalade. The standard 440-horsepower twin-turbo V6 is impressive, and the Navigator’s Black Label trim takes things into serious luxury territory. Available in both standard and long (Navigator L) versions, the Navigator comes with 7-passenger seating, but can be configured as an 8-seater for no charge with the selection of the second-row bench seat package. The third row is spacious, with 36.1 inches of legroom, and there’s plenty of cargo volume, too, with up to 103.3 cubic feet total and 19.3 cubic feet behind the third row. Our most expensive (base price) 8-seater SUV is the 2024 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Like the Escalade and Navigator, the Grand Wagoneer is also available in a longer form (Grand Wagoneer L), but the most affordable 8-seat configuration is the base model with the $595 second-row bench seat package. Despite the size and price, you won’t find a V8 engine under the hood. Instead, you’ll get a 510-horsepower twin-turbocharged inline-6. As for space, there’s plenty, with 42.7 inches of second-row legroom and 36.6 inches in the third row, plus 28.4 cubic feet behind the third row.
