Lawrence, Kansas Mary Sloan Mozingo 1941 — 2024 Mary Clarice Sloan Mozingo, age 82, of Lawrence, KS, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. The third child of Eldon and Harriet Perry Sloan, Mary was born August 7, 1941, in Topeka, KS. She graduated from The Bishop's School in La Jolla, CA in 1959, attended Smith College in Northampton, MA, and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1963. She married John Charles Mozingo in 1965 and lived in Wichita, KS and later moved to Dallas, TX, where they adopted two children, Samuel Charles and Sarah Catherine.
